Glimmerhop arrives on 3 November
Glimmerhop comes to iPhone and Android on 3 November 2026. Pre-orders open on the App Store on 20 October, and the first two weeks bring First Light, with a lantern that can only be earned once.
Glimmerhop has a date. On 3 November 2026 it comes to iPhone through the App Store and to Android through Google Play, with both stores planned for the same day. On Apple devices it runs on iPhone only, and needs iOS 17 or later.
Pre-order opens on 20 October
From 20 October you can pre-order Glimmerhop on the App Store. The game is free, so a pre-order costs nothing: it simply tells your iPhone to download Glimmerhop on launch day, so it is waiting when you look. The pre-order button will appear on the Glimmerhop page as soon as the listing is live, and the Google Play link will join it there.
First Light, 3 to 15 November
The first two weeks are the game’s own launch celebration. Clear any board in that window and you earn the First Light Lantern, a cosmetic for Glim that is never sold and will not be offered again. Launch missions run for the same fortnight, paying out Glow, with a chest for completing all three.
What you will find
Glim is a small teal slime carrying a fragment of the Heartlight Crystal into a world that has forgotten its light. The road is longer than it looks:
- 120 handcrafted levels across eight lands: the Mystical Forest, the Gloamwood, the Crystal Caverns, the Emberdeep, the Stormcrag, the Snowbound Peaks, the Ocean and the Deep.
- Seven guardians to face, and one great escape.
- Ten Radiance forms, each with four tiers.
- 37 puzzle boards in the Puzzles menu, plus 16 puzzle side paths on the map.
- Glimrush, an endless mode for when you want a run rather than a level.
- Daily and weekly missions.
- Heartrest, Glim’s home, with a garden, a workshop, a noticeboard, a shop and a wardrobe.
- A voiced story (the voices are generated with ElevenLabs) and original music for every land and every boss.
- Touch controls first, with controller support.
The plain terms
Glimmerhop is free to download. The Shop at Heartrest sells Glow packs and cosmetic sets, and both are optional. Ads play only when you tap an ad offer to collect its reward; there are no ads you did not ask for. The game plays offline and needs no account. At launch it is in English only.
Made by one person
Candlewren is a one-person studio, so every board, guardian and lantern in Glimmerhop passed through the same pair of hands, and so will every message sent to support after launch.
If you would like to hear when the doors open, the mailing list lives on the Glimmerhop page. It writes only when there is something worth saying.
